The Indian cricket team in all odds will donate their entire match fees of the third test for the Kerala flood victims. The amount could range close to 2 crore or more. A single player gets 15 lakh rupees for playing a test match and the reserves gets 7.5 lakh rupees for warming the bench.

Virat Kohli had earlier dedicated the win to flood victims of Kerala

“We as a team want to dedicate this win to the flood victims in Kerala. This is our bit we can do as the Indian cricket team. A tough time there,” Kohli said in the post-match presentation.

It has come to consideration that BCCI’s new constitution has been acquired under Registrar of Societies. However, it will still take time for the cricket board to make any official donations but the players can donate their amount to the victims.

Earlier in the third test, India fought back in style to pip England by 203 runs at home of Robin Hood- Nottingham. It was a dominant effort by the batters well contributed by the bowlers to keep the series alive.
