The controversial Mic drop incident has been the talk of the town in the ongoing India vs England series. The act started when Joe Root started the mic drop celebration in the ODI series. Continuing the controversial trend, Virat Kohli followed the acts when Joe Root got run out on a sharp through by Indian captain in the first innings of Edgbaston test.
Virat Kohli’s masterful innings was the only difference for Indian team which was allready out of the race from day 2. In the second innings, Kohli was again the saviour but Ben Stokes dismissing him meant that the match slipped away from India and Joe Root had the last laugh.
The International Cricket Council also vocalized on the “mic drop incident”. They posted a picture of Virat Kohli and Joe Root standing together and gave a twist of some creativity to the picture that didn’t draw positive comments from the Indian fans. In the picture, there is a dropping mic which appears to be falling from Joe Root’s right hand.

This creativity was not liked by the Indian fans and they blasted ICC with their tweets.
@ICC I would call it a foolish post. BCCI didn’t post anything stupid when India defeated England in T20.
Personally I would like to shove this mike in your ***.
We whitewashed you here in India and hopefully @imVkohli would be able to defeat you in remaining matches.
Cheers!

What a stupid tweet. You represent the world’s highest governing body of cricket. Act like it, please.
