Indian squad for England test series 2018 announced for first three tests

Delhi’s blasting wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was the surprise inclusion in the 18-member Indian squad for England test series 2018 for the first three matches, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar missed out who suffered a lower back condition and is currently being examined. A call on his place in the team will soon be made after he is declared fit.

Jasprit Bumrah was also included in the team despite missing out from ODIs and T20s following a thumb injury he picked up during Ireland T20 series in Dublin. India’s limited overs vice captain Rohit Sharma was also expelled from the team.

Wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha batsman who didn’t managed to recover in time was also not included in the team and Dinesh karthik will possibly play in place of him.

Mohammed Shami who has faced alot of controversies in the recent team also got a lifeline as he was included in the team after missing out from one-off historic test against Afghanistan at Bengaluru due to an injury.
