BCCI declared 16 members Indian test team for the Sri Lanka tour on Sunday. The three test matches will be played in Galle , Colombo and Kandy.
Rohit Sharma finds his place in the team replacing Karun Nair . The magical 300 run innings by Karun at Chennai has been a history and since then he has certainly not been in the shape to score , resulting in his axation from the team. BCCI officials confirmed earlier that ” Nair will be leading India A in the tri series against South Africa ‘A’ and Australia ‘A’ which will be held in South Africa. The date of Sri Lankan tour and this tri series tour for India ‘A’ will collide . Whereas , Rohit Sharma is returning to the test side with the back of some impressive form in the Champions trophy .
KL Rahul also finds his name in the team , he has got his fitness back and is ready to go for India . Shikhar Dhawan who is scoring runs consistently has been named as a replcament for injured Murali Vijay .
