Rohit Sharma
Rohit was a part of Indian Under 19 team that lost the finals to Pakistan in 2006. The Mumbai born scored 205 runs in 6 matches at an average of 41. He was named in the Indian squad for 2007 World T20, but didn’t got much chance to prove his worth.
His inconsistent run didn’t impressed the selectors and he struggled to find a place in the team. He was always considered a talented batsman who never played to his potential. Rohit was known for his aggressive role in the middle order that eventually got transformed by Dhoni in 2013 Champions trophy, which is considered as a career saving decision for him. Rohit opened the innings for India in Champions trophy 2013 and played a crucial role in India’s triumph. He has not looked back since then and is a regular opener for India in the limited overs. He is the only man on the planet to score 3 double hundreds in ODI cricket.
