India made a dream start to the Australia test series by winning the Adelaide test by 31 runs courtesy of man of the match performance by Cheteshwar Pujara, equally supported by the bowlers. This was India’s only 6th win on Australian soil and skipper Virat Kohli had allready made it clear that they are not content with just one win.
The next question which arise for the team management is to go with the same team combination or make some changes for the bouncy and pace friendly wicket of Perth.

Openers- KL Rahul and Murali Vijay
With Prithvi Shaw suffering from ankle injury it is likely that the pair of Murali Vijay and KL Rahul will again open the batting for India. The duo failed to create an impact in the first innings of first test match but contributed 63 runs for the 1st wicket in the second innings.
KL Rahul took the aggressive approach against the Aussie pacers which is a good sign for the team management, considering the attacking instinct that gets more results for Rahul.
Murali Vijay has to lift up the socks and score some runs to cement his place neither it looks to be a certainity that Prithvi Shaw will take his place in the 3rd test match.
