After a day where India bagged two gold and two bronze medals, the focus now shifts to the 3rd official day of Asian Games 2023. While the Indian men’s team of Rudranksh Patil, Aishwary Tomar and Divyansh Panwar won gold medal in 10m air rifle team event which proved to be India’s first ever gold medal in the event. The Indian cricket team followed it up with a top performance against Sri Lanka pipping them by 19 runs to bag top honors.
However, there were also some heartbreaks as top seed pair of Rohan Bopanna and Yuki Bhambri were knocked out in men’s tennis courtesy 3-6, 3-6 second round loss against Uzbekistan pair of Sergey Fomin and Khumoyun Sultanov.

The onus will be on shooters to bag more medals and take India’s medal tally forward on day 3. Indian boxers will also eye glory to book their spot in the next round. Indian tennis athletes will also eye spot in the next rounds. India will take on Pakistan as the two arch rivals continue their rivalry in Volleyball this time.
