India's schedule today at CWG 2022 (August 2, 2022)

India will eye history as they are sure to bag their first ever medal in lawn balls event and they will want to make it big by winning the gold medal in women’s four’s category. India will want to retain their gold medal in mixed badminton team category which they won in 2018 edition at Gold Coast and they will be up against a strong Malaysian side.

Athletics qualification events will also highlight the day followed by some weightlifting action where India wil be hopeful of some more medals.

Lawn Balls-

  1. Women’s triples section C Round 1- India vs New Zealand from 1 PM
  2. Men’s singles section D Round 1- India(Mridul Borgohain) vs New Zealand(Shannon Mcilroy) from 4:15 PM
  3. Women’s four’s gold medal match- India vs South Africa from 4:15 PM
  4. Men’s four’s section C Round 1- India vs Fiji from 8:45 PM
  5. Women’s triples section C Round 2- India vs England from 8:45 PM

Badminton-
