The Indian team has started the year 2020 by winning two consecutive home series. The team, led by Virat, first defeated Sri Lanka in the T20 series and then defeated Australia 2-1 in the ODI series after losing the first game in Mumbai. While the victory against Australia has increased the confidence of the Indian team, the players are all geared up for their next challenge.
The Indian team will now travel to the nation of New Zealand with winning momentum. They will ply their trade in the first ever five match T20 series to test their preparation for 2020 T20 World Cup which will be followed by a three match ODI series and two match test series which promises 120 points in world test championship.
The Indian T20 team has been announced and the selectors are yet to name teams for ODI and test series. Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant along with Ishant Sharma’s injury also remain a concern for the team. While Shikhar has been ruled out of the tour, selectors are yet to name his replacement.
