Virat Kohli has managed to avoid injury scare as he readily takes rest from the game, whenever there is an opportunity. Virat Kohli is well aware of the situations and his words suggest that he may take a break from the tournament to remain fresh for the world cup.
“Yes… that’s a big possibility. Why not?” It is up to the players to give information on any niggle to the concerned people as soon as possible and work as per plan. We have told the players to be smart about how they feel on a particular day and then reporting to the physios. If he’s told not to play, then he has to respect that,” Virat said according to India Today.
Kohli-Dhoni face-off
The IPL opener will feature two fierce competitors in MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli facing each other leading Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore respectively. RCB has not won a game against CSK since 2014 and they will be eager to turn the tables and start their season on a high.
