On account of ICC’s annual summit on thursday ,Afghanistan and Ireland have been granted the full membership of ICC from being a associate. With this,these two nations have become 11th and 12th full members of ICC and also the test team status have been granted.Now there will be 12 test playing nations in total.

Both these nations requested for the full membership.Their request was decided by voting system and with the concent of all,they got the approval.Before getting the test status , Afghanistan team played 83 ODI’S and 61 T20’s. Whereas, Ireland played 123 ODI’s and 61 T20’s
