Indian team is currently struggling from injury concerns which is showing in the results. Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are sidelined due to injuries. However, there were happenings sign for the Indian fans as Bumrah made his way back to the cricket field in Visakhapatnam.
Bumrah is recovering fast and is working hard to return to the team. A fit and energetic Bumrah joined the team as a nets bowler to prepare well for his comeback. After the series against the West Indies, India will host the limited overs series against Sri Lanka and Australia in January and then go on to tour New Zealand. In such a situation, the team and management are confident that their star bowler will join them soon.
The BCCI informed about this by tweeting Bumrah’s picture. He was getting ready to participate in a practice session in the blue jersey. However, the biggest surprise in the picture was Prithvi Shaw. He was out of action after BCCI slapped him with a back dated eight month ban for doping violation. It was learnt that the banned substance was present in a cough syrup which he consumed.
He is out of action from July 30 and made a thunderous return in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Mumbai, playing against Assam. He scored a quickfire half century. The 20-year-old recently smashed a double century with a strike rate of over 100 in Ranji trophy round robin encounter against Baroda.
