After being an active in-ring competitor for over 15 years, WWE star John Cena has finally kept himself away from the long feuds and in-ring action. Fans eagerly wait for his matches at WWE’s PPV and there were rumours of a possible match with “The Undertaker” at the Summerslam. However, there has been no confirmation by the company and the two superstars.
This has made the fans wait more for his in-ring appearance and Cena himself has cleared the air on his possible return.
Confirming the news on twitter he said that he will return to action on 1st of September. “The 6th move of doom. Ready for #WWEShanghai. Sept 1st,” he wrote.
Cena is readily spotted at “Total Bellas” and his break-up with Nikki Bella has made the headlines in the recent times. However, he was recently spotted with Nikki and her family at Lake Tahoe that sensed the question about the couple getting back with each other. Cena squared off against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania which was a last minute surprise for the fans. However, the match lasted just 2 minutes which brought utter disappointment to the fans who wanted more from both the superstars. It came down to Summerslam to end the feud on even terms for the WWE Universe but it looks uncertain that WWE will push for a possible match between the two superstars at Summerslam.
