India’s new spin sensation Kuldeep Yadav says that KKR will bank on home advantage when it takes on SRH in Qualifier 2. KKR defeated Rajasthan Royals in Eliminator at their den in Eden Gardens, Kolkata and are lucky enough to play the 2nd qualifier against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Kolkata, for a chance to qualify for the finals on May 27 in Mumbai. Chennai Super Kings are allready in the finals.
KKR will hold an upper hand against SRH, who are coming from a back of four straight defeats.(3 in group stage and last one against CSK in qualifier 1).
“Obviously it will be difficult for them (Sunrisers) to come from Mumbai and play here. Mumbai wicket has true bounce whereas the Eden track aids spin. It’s our home ground, so it’s very easy for us to play here,” Kuldeep said after KKR’s win last night.

KKR will however now underestimate SRH, who have been the table toppers in the ongoing season.
“We are not looking at the results. It does not matter whether they lost four in a row or we won four. Winning our next match is the priority at the moment,” Kuldeep said.
“It’s knock-out stage. Every game is very important from here on. They are a very good side and we are up for a good contest.”
Kuldeep delivered an economical spell of 1/18 in the four overs and also picked a crucial wicket of Ajinkya Rahane to break the dangerous looking partnership between India’s test specialist and Sanju Samson.
Kolkata Knight Riders faces Sunrisers Huderabad at Eden Gardens on Friday.
