The Bollywood and cricket couples are much hyped topic ever since Virat Kohli married actress Anushka Sharma in 2017, after dating for several years. The latest entrant in the list maybe the name of Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty. His name was earlier linked with Bollywood actress like Nidhi Agerwal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Sonal Chauhan and Zareen Khan but all the divas rejected the claim of dating the cricketer.
Rahul had failed to create an impact in the test format in the recent while for which he was dropped from the Indian test squad for South Africa series. Its worth mentioning that Rahul was a formidable test batsman and he got a place in the Indian team in 2014 Australia series on back of impressive performances in Ranji trophy. He has evolved as a player in limited overs format but has lost his touch in the longest format.

Meanwhile, Rahul is in limelight for going to a dinner date with his rumoured girlfriend Athiya Shetty. However, both have denied the relationship rumours but their recent pictures are not going well with the fans. Sooraj Pancholi and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor later joined them.

Earlier, Jannat fame actress Sonal Chauhan denied the news of linkup with the cricketer.
“No, not at all. He is a very good cricketer. He is very talented and a nice guy,” Chauhan was quoted by India Today.
“It is so good to see Rahul back in form. He is a very nice guy. What happened is in the past. I just feel bad about the way the whole thing turned out but you live and learn. Actually, he is very sweet and respectful towards women, so I don’t know how it all came out.” she added.
Rahul is currently plying his trade for Karnataka in Vijay Hazare trophy.
