List of 6 worst rules of cricket that ICC needs to change, number one is heartbreaking

List of 6 worst rules of cricket that ICC needs to change

3- LBW- pitching outside leg

An umpire considers a lbw decision is whether the ball pitched outside leg stump or not. If the ball lands outside the line of the leg stump, the batsman cannot be given out – even if the ball hit the stumps.

This is one of the most ridiculous rules in cricket umpiring. A stump is a stump and the ball has every chance of hitting the stumps if it is spinning from outside leg stump as it does if it pitches outside off.

2- On field umpires call

Many times the batsman reviews the decision of the on field umpire. If a batsman is given out courtesy LBW and ball is pitching in line but less than half of the ball is touching the stumps, he will still be given out. In the same scenario, if the batsman is given not out and bowling side had reviewed, it would have still stayed not out as 50 percent of the ball is required to hit the wicket. Two decisions can given be for a same scenario.

1- Tied super over

Don't miss out these funny jokes as fans troll ICC for controversial rulesThis is the most talked about rule after New Zealand lost the World Cup final to England. The game goes to super over if the scores are tied at the end of 100 overs but if the scores are still tied in the super over, the team hitting more boundaries in their course of 50 overs are declared as the winners.

The rule is certainly unfair and biased towards bowlers. In DLS method runs are calculated in consideration of the number of wickets the team have lost to set their revised target. And in case of tied game in super over, the number of wickets should be taken into consideration.
