The ongoing world cup is nearing the business end of the tournament and the six teams are still eyeing the semi final berth. Australia have allready qualified for the semi-final but New Zealand, India, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are up with a chance. A win for India will ensure that they reach the semi-finals with ease. They will be up against a determined Bangladesh on 2nd July followed by the game against Sri Lanka on 6th July.
Another win for England will also ensure that they reach the last four of the ongoing world cup. They will be up against New Zealand who they last pipped in 1983 world cup. Pakistan will be hoping that England lose their last encounter and they beat Bangladesh in their last clash of the league stage to qualify for the semi-finals from the verge of exiting the tournament after losing to India on 16th June.
Sri Lanka will have to win their remaining game against India and would hope that Pakistan and England lose their matches that will ensure that they reach the semi-finals which looks more than uncertain. Bangladesh will hope that England lose their last encounter and they register a win against India and Pakistan to qualify for the semi-finals.
