India’s tennis star Sania Mirza has confirmed rumors that her sister Anam Mirza is going to marry Asad, son of former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin. It was speculated from many days that Anam Mirza is going to get married to Mohammad Azharuddin’s son Mohammad Asaduddin.
Speaking to a national daily, Sania Mirza said, “She is actually getting married in December. We just came back from her bachelorette trip to Paris. We are really excited.”
“She is marrying a lovely boy. His name is Asad, and he happens to be the son of Mohammad Azharuddin and we are really excited about it,” Sania Mirza told Times of India.
Sania Mirza’s sister Anam Mirza is a fashion stylist by profession and the speculations about her marriage started when Anam wrote ‘Family’ while sharing a picture with Asad on her social media account.
The rumours became rife when she posted a picture in September where she was wearing bride-to-be’ sash, with pink ‘bride-to-be’ balloons on a glass window behind framed the picture.
Anam was earlier married to a businessman Akbar Rasheed in October 2016 but the relationship didn’t went on the expected path and the couple split in 2018. Anam is the owner of fashion label- The label bazaar.
