1. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is most expensive player in IPL history. He was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore for an inordinate sum of 17 crore rupees. Kohli has been a part of RCB from season 1 and now is the only cricketer to play for one franchise team in all IPL seasons.
With the kind of menacing form Virat Kohli was in 2017 was there even a doubt if Royal Challengers Banglore would not have retained him ahead of the mega-auction for the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Kohli has captained the RCB since the 2013 season and led the team to the final of 2016 season where they lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
