Sachin is always spotted with his mother at every special occasion, but very few people know that his mother has only seen him play once in the stadium and that was his final match in Mumbai against West Indies. It is also known that his mother and elder brother Ajit, never watched him play live from the television. Whether it were some superstitions or something else, Sachin has conquered some unbeatable records that makes him the greatest batsman ever, this earth has ever seen.
Shabnam Singh- The mother of Yuvraj Singh
It was only in Yuvi’s teenage when Shabnam Singh got divorced from her Husband Yograj Singh and started taking care of Yuvi along with his younger brother Zorawar with all her efforts. The upbringing of her mother Shabnam turned fruitful for Yuvraj as he lead India U19 team to world cup triumph in 2000. He soon got a senior India call up and went on to achieve so much in his career, including a “Player of the tournament” in 2011 World Cup.
When the things were going the right way, Yuvraj was diagnosed with Lung cancer which came as a real shocker to the whole nation. It was this time when her mother Shabnam came to the rescue and lived those sleepless day and nights praying to almighty god just to get his son recovered from the Illness as soon as possible. It was the time when the Singh from Punjab needed to fire in his real life and he didn’t disappoint and successfully outclassed Cancer, all possible with the help of his mother.
