Munaf Patel  played a vital role in India’s 2011 world cup triumph with his economical bowling, who is currentely playing for Gujarat Lions.

During an IPL match on 23rd april between Gujarat Lions and Kings XI Punjab, a special person was seen cheering for Lions in Hijab and she was the wife of Munaf Patel.

Munaf and his wife Taslima got engaged just before the start of IPL season 2 and Munaf went to South Africa to join his franchise team for IPL. Only then was the time when Taslima started watching cricket just to get a sneak peak of her husband. 1 year later in 2010 this couple got married to each other in a very private function including close friends and family.

Before this match on 23rd only few peoples would have known Munaf Patel real religion but the hijab look of his wife have certainly unveiled the true part of the story. Despite of any religion and creed, Munaf is first an Indian and we are proud to have him. We wish him best for the ongoing season of IPL.
