To promote the game of Volleyball in India, Volleyball Federation of India came up with the idea of Pro Volleyball League in 2019 which was eventually won by Chennai Spartans. The league was discontinued for two years because of some problem within Volleyball Federation of India but it will finally be back and will be now known as Prime Volleyball League (earlier- pro Volleyball League)
The league will feature top Indian attractions like Ashwal Rai, C. Ajithlal, G.S. Akhin, Jerome Vinith, Deepesh Kumar Sinh, Ashwal Rai, C. Ajithlal, G.S. Akhin, Jerome Vinith and Deepesh Kumar Sinh. Top International stars like David Lee (USA) and Luis Antonio Arias Guzman (Venezuela) will also feature in the league and their presence will help the Indian players learn more aspects and art of the game.
