Karnataka has won the final of Vijay Hazare trophy 2018, defeating Saurashtra by 41 runs. The Karun Nair led team lifted the coveted trophy for the 3rd time, having won it before in 2013-13 and 2014-15 season. Earlier, Saurashtra won the toss and choose to bowl first, Karnataka again rode on their opener Mayank Agarwal who top scored with 90 runs as they finish on 251/10 after 45.5 overs. Saurashtra on the other hand never got the momentum going as they fell 41 runs short of the target. Pujara top scored with 94 runs but could not see his team home.
