Rain played the part on day one of the Lords test match as the day was called off without a single bowl being bowled. But the Indian team was certainly entertained by the variety of food which was presented at lunch. Rain forced an early meal break on day 1 and it may have been frustrating for the Indian players but a good variety of food may have regathered them for the challenges lying ahead.
The focus now shifts to the day 2 of the test match which may offer a bright sunny day but clouds and rain may still play its part. The conditions looks perfect for a fast bowler which may bring us some good exhibition of swing bowling. Team winning the toss will surely look to bowl first with English weather showing different colours with every passing minute.

Lets hope the food may keep the players up to their shape so they can come and throttle the English team on the second day of the Lords test.
