Rishabh Pant's girlfriend Isha Negi is badly missing him

India clean swept West Indies 3-0 in the three-match T20 series which was played in Florida and Guyana. In the last match of this series- Rishabh Pant, surpassed the record of MS Dhoni and became the highest individual run scoring wicket-keeper batsman for India. Now in the one-day series after T20, Pant is handling the responsibility of the team’s wicketkeeper in the absence of Mahi.

Even though Team India had a spectacular win on Monday morning in the second ODI match against West Indies, but this match was also influenced by rain and was cut short to 46 overs in the second innings. It was raining continuously before the match, after which the players did indoor practice, while the team’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant found a unique way of practice. He started practicing in the Corridor of the hotel itself. Rishabh Pant shared the video of his practice on his Instagram account.

In the video, it is seen that Kuldeep Yadav is throwing the ball to him and Pant is practicing wicketkeeping. The most striking comment in the video was of his girlfriend Isha Negi, who wrote “Miss You”. Isha is the same girl whose picture was posted by Rishabh on Instagram on the night of 16 January 2019, captioning, “I just want to make you happy because you are the reason I am so happy,” Isha Negi is an Entrepreneur and Interior Decor Designer and is currently pursuing literature from Amity University. Like Pant, she is also a native of Uttarakhand.

India registers a comprehensive victory in the second ODI

Virat Kohli was the standout performer as he went onto score 120 runs off just 125 balls which helped India score 279/7 at the end of 50 overs and in reply West Indies fell short by 59 runs in the innings which was cut short by rain which forced the revised target of 270 runs in 46 overs. Evin Lewis(65) was the top performer for West Indies but it was Bhuvneshwar Kumar who picked 4 wickets to bring down the challenge of the hosts.
