Rohit Sharma was recently named as the captain of Indian squad for Asia Cup 2018 which will be held in United Arab Emirates. Selectors gave some much needed rest to regular skipper Virat Kohli following India’s busy cricket schedule later this year.
Rohit was axed from the Indian test team after his disappointing show in the South Africa test series in January. However, he continued his good run of form in the limited overs by being the highest run-getter in the England T20 series, amassing 137 runs in three innings. He continued his form in the ODI series by notching 154 runs in three innings and becoming the second highest run-getter for India after Virat Kohli.
The Mumbai Indians skipper had a good off-time from cricket and he decided to give some time to his fans by conducting a chat session on twitter. Some of the fans came up with some nostalgic questions and got the answers from the man himself.
Rohit Sharma used to be a handy off-break bowler in the past and fans questioned him as why he stepped aside from bowling.
He was hopeful that we would soon see him bowl.
I’m not selected so I can’t play! As for My bowling, I’m sure you’ll see me bowl soon enough

One is team mates you travel with all year round and the other is players you play against and may never have even met before!
