Legendary Brazil footballer Ronaldinho who once said that he won’t marry in his entire life has finally changed his mind and has striven for a double strike as he is planning to marry two women at same time in August. The marriage will be held at his home in Rio De Janeiro. The reports of Ronaldinho marriage has allready breaken the hearts of many fans and followers of the footballer.
According to a report by Rio de Janeiro’s newspaper O Dia, this wedding ceremony will be a rare form of three-person civil union, reported USA Today.
On that note, Bigamy, which is illegal in Brazil, has punishment by up to six years in jail. (Bigamy- the offence of marrying someone while already married to another person.)
“But a wedding ceremony to two women – one that wouldn’t count as two official marriages – presents a different case,” the report stated.
The former footballers fiancees- Priscilla Coelho and Beatriz Souza- have been staying with him since last December.
Ronaldinho started dating Beatriz in 2016 but also carried on his older relationship with Priscilla.
The report further said that the ambassador for Barcelona, who told Brazilian media outlets that he is “adept” at polygamy, started dating Coelho first around 2013, before meeting Souza in 2016. (Polygamy- the practice or custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time)
Who are Priscilla and Beatriz?
Both Priscilla and Beatriz are from the city of Belo Horizonte, where the footballer played with Atletico Mineiro, leading the club to its first Copa Libertadores title in 2012.
He retired this year
Ronaldinho retired from football earlier this year and has played for some of the heavyweight clubs like Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain. He has scored 33 goals in 97 matches, playing for Brazil. He was also the member of 2002 World cup winning Brazilian squad.

His sister won’t arrive in the wedding
Ronaldinho’s family is not in favour of this marriage. His sister Deisi de Assis Moreira is the biggest opposer of this marriage. According to the reports Deisi has allready said that she won’t join the marriage function.
