The rumours were reportedly produced after statements made by the CEO of Pirelli, Inter Milan’s shirt sponsor.
“Messi? How can you say ‘no’ to Messi? If there were the conditions for a deal, the Inter Milan fans would be enthusiastic,” said CEO Marco Tronchetti Provera.
The rumours may not been be that fancied but if talking about the current financial influence of the Suning Group, the owners of Inter Milan, there can be a record transfer deal to bag Messi, a deal which can also break the record of Neymar’s costliest transfer in history.
If they do manage to win Messi, their business will surely benefit because the fans will get to see the fierce rivalry again. Its a win-win situation all-together.
