There are speculation circling a big match between John Cena and The Undertaker at WWE’s biggest extravaganza “Summerslam” which will roll on 19th August. These two big faces of WWE last met at Wrestlemania in a totally unexpected match where Undertaker took just two minutes to defeat John Cena. It was surely not a contrasting match which fans would be dreaming of and the wait may continue as there is no confirmation from WWE over the big match speculation at Summerslam.
Update on John Cena
John Cena has been out of in-ring action and is readily spotted at “Total Bellas”. He was also spotted at a surprise getaway with her ex-girlfriend and WWE diva Niki Bella. There are still 2 weeks to the Summerslam and if there is any chance of a dream match, Cena will appear in any of the two brands to spice up the speculation.
Chances
It’s hard for the company to be without the service of these two men in a PPV event like Summerslam. It might be a certainity that both the superstars will appear in the show but their opposition might be different.
Another Update
It has come to consideration that Dean Ambrose might return to the roster after Summerslam. If this happens then there is a good chance that Seth Rollins won’t regain his Intercontinental championship with Drew McIntyre interfering in the match to help Ziggler retain the title at Summerslam. This sets up a nicely for a tag team battle between Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Sounds interesting ? Let’s see what WWE has to offer.
