New Zealand and its horrific love story with super overs continues as Indian thumped the hosts in the 4th T20 of the series in yet another super over thriller. New Zealand were first outwit in the 3rd t20 of the series which was also decided via a super over. Needing 17 runs of the 6 balls, Kane Williamson gave the ball to Tim Southee and he was spot on in the starting 4 balls of the super over, conceding just one boundary.
With 10 needed of 2 balls, he bowled length deliveries and Rohit Sharma dispatched them for two consecutive sixes to take India to a memorable victory. Southee was the skipper in the 4th T20 after Williamson had to sit out following a slight niggle in the shoulders.
The skipper rolled up his sleeves to bowl in the super over, where India needed 14 runs off 6 deliveries. He got dispatched for 10 runs in starting two balls by KL Rahul and at last Virat Kohli took the team to victory with one ball remaining.
