Shami's wife visits his native village in Amroha,UP

Police informed that Indian cricketer Mohd Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan visited the pacer’s native village in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha district on Sunday. Jahan was accompanied by her two-year-old daughter and lawyer Zakir Hussain.

Didauli police station Inspector Ram Singh Katheria said Jahan approached the police and asked for protection to visit Sahas village.

She then visited the village where she demanded that lock of Shami’s house be broken so that she can enter it.

However the demand was refused by the police “We denied to break the lock as Shami’s family members were not there,” police said.

Mohd Zameer, Shami’s uncle, told PTI as reported by First Post that Jahan visited the village without informing anyone in advance but she is still welcome into his house, which is in the same neighbourhood.

“She can stay at our house as Shami’s family members are not here and their house was locked,” Zameer added.

Jahan made startling revelations on her Facebook page about his extra-marital affairs and domestic abuse.

Shami denied all the allegations made against him, however Hasin Jahan registered a FIR against Shami and his family members under non bailable sections of the Indian penal code. The 28-year-old pacer was charged under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), following a complaint filed by his wife. He was also charged under section 498A. Shami’s mother Anjuman-Ara-Begum, brother Hasib Ahamed, Hasib’s wife Shama and Shabina Ahjum, Shami’s sister are among those who have been named in the FIR .

Shami also faces summon from the third judicial magistrate of Alipore Court after Hasin filed a petition against her husband, seeking a monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh for her and her daughter.
