Former Australian pacer Brett Lee says Shivam Mavi is the future of Indian bowling, heaping praise on Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler. Mavi who led India to the ICC U-19 trophy triumph under the leadership of Prithvi Shaw, has impressed one and all with his quick pace and performance. He was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for a price of INR 3 crore.

“I think Mavi has got everything. His actions are beautiful and he packs himself as a fully furnished bowler. With youngsters like Mavi, it’s extremely important to play with confidence, enjoying the spirit of the game,” Lee said in a press release
“He knows what he is doing and it looks like he really enjoys his cricket. I think Mavi for me is the future for Indian bowlers,” added Lee.
Lee is currently working as an expert and commentator in Star Sports Dugout, which is aired during the IPL matches.
