The Bollywood and cricket couples are much hyped topic ever since Virat Kohli married actress Anushka Sharma in 2017, after dating for several years. The latest entrant in the list maybe the name of Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Jannat fame actress Sonal Chauhan. His name was earlier linked with Bollywood actress like Nidhi Agerwal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Zareen Khan but all the divas rejected the claim of dating the cricketer.
Rahul had failed to create an impact in the test format in the recent while for which he was dropped from the Indian test squad for South Africa series. Its worth mentioning that Rahul was a formidable test batsman and he got a place in the Indian team in 2014 Australia series on back of impressive performances in Ranji trophy. He has evolved as a player in limited overs format but has lost his touch in the longest format.
Sonal Chauhan reacts to dating rumours with KL Rahul
The Jannat fame actress denied all the speculations. “No, not at all. He is a very good cricketer. He is very talented and a nice guy,” Chauhan was quoted by India Today.
“It is so good to see Rahul back in form. He is a very nice guy. What happened is in the past. I just feel bad about the way the whole thing turned out but you live and learn. Actually, he is very sweet and respectful towards women, so I don’t know how it all came out.” she added.
Rahul’s professional career
The Karnataka batsman is included in India’s squad in the ongoing T20 series against South Africa. However, with the return of senior players and the form of Shreyas Iyer, it is unlikely that Rahul will get a chance to prove his worth. India will play the second T20 against South Africa on 18th September after the first T20 in Dharamshala was washed off due to rain.
