Former India captain Sourav Ganguly named his favourite team for FIFA World Cup 2018 and termed Brazil as his choice but at the same time he is looking forward to the Messi magic as well.
“I am looking forward to Messi magic. He’s yet to win a World Cup. It’s going to be a big World Cup for him,” said Ganguly.
The Prince ok Kolkata further picked South American giants Brazil, Argentina and European giant Germany as the teams to watch out for in Russia 2018.

Ganguly also wished Arjun Tendulkar, who got the maiden India U-19 call up for the tour to Sri Lanka.
“Lots of wishes to him. I have never seen him play. I hope he does well,” he said.
Ganguly also said that Virat Kohli’s led Indian side will be the favourites to win the series in England. India will play three match T20 series followed by Three match ODI series and a gruelling five match test series.
“I’m very hopeful that India will win in England. The way they have played the ODI series in South Africa, if they are able to hold back the momentum, they will absolutely win.”
“India are a far better side than Pakistan. India will have better chances of winning the series,” Ganguly said.
Recently Pakistan defeated England in the first test match at Lords by a clinical margin of 9 wickets. In the second test, England scripted a comeback to register a win by innings and 55 runs to level the series 1-1.
Kohli will get the BCCI’s best cricketer award for two seasons and Ganguly believes the Indian skipper should keep on playing without worrying about the rest.
He’s nearing 30 and has another six-seven years… He just has to keep playing and don’t worry about anything.”
