Ace Indian tennis player Sania Mirza confirms the pregnancy news on Monday by sharing a Cryptic ‘Baby’ post on her official twitter account. Mirza and her cricketer husband Shoaib Malik, posted a picture on their Twitter accounts of a baby vest and a feeding bottle between two T-shirts bearing their surnames.

Earlier this month, Sania said that she and Shoaib want a daughter but whenever they decide to start a family, Sania would want her child’s surname to be ‘Mirza Malik’.
“Today I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that’s where we stand as a family including my husband. He actually wants a daughter,” Sania said during a panel discussion on ‘Gender Bias’ at the ‘Goa Fest 2018’.
Sania is sidelined since October with a knee injury, she is hopeful of playing in the Asian Games, which is scheduled to be held in Indonesia in August-September.
