Majority of the test playing cricket nations are blessed to possess the cricketers who can bat down deep and can also strike some meaty blows down the order. Players like James Faulkner, Sam Curran have taken it to another level by rescuing their teams on several occasions, batting down the order.

India is currently in Australia where they will be playing a full fledged series which includes 3 T20, 3 ODIs and 4 test matches. The men in blue will surely miss the services of all-rounder Hardik Pandya who may have proved fruitful with the ball on the fast track wickets of Australia as well he could be a handy customer with the bat down the order.

In his absence, pacer Jasprit Bumrah was captured striking the ball in the nets before the first T20 in Brisbane. The 24-years-old from Ahmedabad just averages 4.00 in T20I and he will be looking to better the record.

India will be hoping that Bumrah shines with the ball in the series but his exploits with the bat may also prove beneficial for India.

Twitter users were entertained with the act and some even termed him to be the next Kapil Dev of India.
