2- Amir Elahi- Born in Lahore(1908)
The leg break bowler made his test debut for India at the tour of Australia in 1947. He later went onto represent Pakistan after the nation acquired the test status in 1952. He played five more test, this time in the Pakistan jersey but couldn’t make a mark for his team.
Elahi picked seven wickets in six test matches that he played for the national teams(India and Pakistan). His short International career didn’t do justice to his talent as he was more prolific campaigner in the domestic circuit. Elahi played 125 first-class where he picked 513 wickets at an impressive average of 25.77. His brilliant run of form was most seen when he represented Baroda in the Ranji trophy.
