1- Rishabh Pant
The Roorkee born Delhi bound cricketer was the second highest run getter in the series which no one would have expected before the start of the series. The southpaw was termed as an aggressive batter who does not possess the waiting game and can be troubled with the bouncers but the 21-years-old proved them all wrong by playing the waiting game in the Sydney test and went onto notch up a well made ton on the bouncy pitch which had everything for the pacers to exploit.
Rishabh Pant proved to be an instrumental factor for India in the series win as he managed to score 350 runs in 7 innings of the test match and his improvement in wicket-keeping is a happening sign for Indian cricket.
