India’s Ravi Kumar Dahiya created history as he became just the second Indian wrestler after Sushil Kumar to win a silver medal in men’s 57kg freestyle wrestling. He was up against a very strong Zaur Rizvanovich Uguev of Russian Olympic Committee in a tough final. Losing points in the starting took on heavily on Dahiya and he could not match the ROC wrestler. Nevertheless, it was a historic silver for the Haryana wrestler and here are the best reactions after he won the silver.
Congratulations to my son Ravi Kumar Dahiya for winning Silver medal in wrestling at #Tokyo2020. You have made our nation proud with your hardwork and dedication. My best wishes to you and to your family.
