This Kiwi batsman is a perfect mix of timing and power that may prove devastating for any top bowling line-up of the world. Munro highlighted himself with a 54-ball T20 century against India in Rajkot last year, which had cricket experts predicting that the franchise will go full monty to purchase this hefty batsman in IPL auction 2018.

Munro was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2016, but the southpaw failed to make an impact, scoring 30 runs in 4 matches. He has come a long way since then and played in various T20 leagues around the world. His contributions for Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL has been immensely costless at the start of the innings, helping them lift the trophy in 2017.
His skills to clear the boundary from ball one, makes him a compelling prospect. He can provide the ideal start for DD, which may open doors for Delhi Daredevils to go for glory and clinch their maiden IPL title with Gambhir in charge.
Munro was sold to Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2018 for INR 1.90 crore. He is expected to open the innings with Gautam Gambhir and may also prove handy with his medium pacers.
