The 29-year old has played all his cricket for RCB in IPL since the 2008 season. Kohli won purple cap in 2016 for scoring 973 runs in 16 matches, which is a record number of runs in a season. He scored 4 big hundreds that helped the cause of taking his team to IPL finals in 2016, where they lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad. But three times less the returns of 2016, he could only manage to score 308 runs in ten matches of the season 10, that pushed RCB to bottom of the table. An average of 30.80 seems pretty ordinary for Kohli’s ‘superhuman’ abilities, but he has all the talent in the world to bounce back in style.
