Priyank is a right handed batsman who plays for Gujarat in Indian domestic matches.
The 2016-17 season was a career defining for elegant Gujarat batsman. He played an integral role for Gujarat, lifting its maiden Ranji trophy title in 2016-17 season. With 1310 runs, he was easily the highest individual run-scorer for the season – with no one else crossing the 1000-run mark. He blasted with an unbeaten knock of 315 against Punjab in Ranji trophy.
Panchal didn’t stop here, he again became the top scorer for Gujarat in 2017-18 Ranji season. The Ahmedabad born scored 542 runs in 10 innings of 7 test matches. He scored two hundreds with a top score of 152. His consistent run of form was highly praised by the selectors, making way for him in the India A side.
