4. Leslie Claudius
Leslie shares the honors of most Olympic medal for a player in field hockey competing in Olympics alongside Udham Singh. He led the team to an Olympic silver medal in 1960. He was India’s first player to earn 100 caps. After the 1960 Olympics, he continued to compete domestically, retiring after the 1965 season. He received the prestigious Padamshree award by the Indian government in 1971. He scored 3 goals competing for national side.
