England were fumbling on 90/4 at lunch but then a came a master innings from Jonny Bairstow who took the game away from India. The Lords wicket has started to favour the batters on a bright sun day which is well utilized by Bairstow and well supported by Chris Woakes. The pair have allready crossed 100+ runs partnership for the 6th wicket and the game is inching far from the reach of Virat Kohli’s men.
Social media was in awe of Bairstow’s batting display as he inched closer to another test hundred. Some reactions state that is better than his countryman Joe Root and Alastair Cook.

In the pre-DRS era, Bairstow would’ve shown his bat to the umpire immediately…. #evolution #EngvInd

Jonny Bairstow early in his career was sorted out against short deliveries by Roach and rest. He went back, worked on his technique and returned with a bang. Suffering from same issue, many promising Indian career ended. Difference. #ENGvIND
