Earlier, India’s spin twin titled “Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav” destroyed the South African batting order. Kuldeep picked 3 wickets and Chahal ended with a fifer.
Yuzvendra Chahal registered career best figures of 5/22. With that record, Chahal also surpassed Harbhajan Singh, who had figures of 3/27 in 2001. The leg-spinner accounted for wickets of Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Chris Morris, Khaya Zondo and Morne Morkel as India bundled the Proteas for 118.
