1- Kedar Jadhav in for Khaleel Ahmed
India dearly missed the services of a specialist middle over batsman in the first ODI who can stitch a partnership with Rohit Sharma and take the game closer. Jadhav may be the answer to the middle order woes as he can strengthen the batting line-up as well can be a handy pick in the bowling department with his unorthodox bowling action.
Khaleel Ahmed leaked runs in the first ODI as he finished with the figures of 0/55 in 8 overs. He was not utilized in the middle overs and India could not pick wickets which let batsmen like Shaun Marsh and Peter Handscomb to take Australia’s total close to 300.
Adding Jadhav will give an added advantage of a part timer who can bowl and pick wickets in the middle overs and can also contribute in the batting department.
