South Africa were clinical in the recently concluded ODI series where they thumped Australia 2-1 at their own den. Proteas skipper Faf Du Plessis has been a pillar pf strength for the team as he guided his boys to triumph in Australia. However at the age of 34, there have been question over his retirement.
He may be eyeing the 2019 cricket world cup after which he may exit International cricket but the man himself has come forward and kept aside all the retirement speculations.

Du Plessis looks to be in the form of his life and he wants to make the most of it. The Pretoria born cricketer may want to add his services for the national team and win an ICC trophy for them and remove the tag of chokers in the big tournaments.
Du Plessis said that he will continue to play for the national side until the 2020 World T20.
“The T20 World Cup in 2020 is something I’m really looking forward to. I think right now that will probably be the last tournament for me,” Du Plessis said.
South Africa will now square off against Australia in one-off T20 series in Brisbane.
