MS Dhoni will be eyeing good run to retain his doubles title at Country Cricket Club Tennis Championship at Jharkhand state cricket association complex(JSCA). The veteran cricketer won the title last year and he started his campaign on a high in the first round, where he and his partner Sumeet defeated their opponents Michael and Chalse 6-0, 6-0.
There have been speculation about the retirement of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni since the 2019 World Cup. Dhoni has kept himself out of the national duties ever since he made himself unavailable for the series against West Indies. He went to serve for his army battalion in the terrorist prone area of Awantipura for 14 days in August. He further didn’t play in the T20 series against South Africa and also kept himself out of the Bangladesh T20 series.
