South Africa’s one-day captain Faf du Plessis shocked everyone with a statement in the ongoing Mzansi Premier League. Paarl Rocks captain Du Plessis went to the toss and he was asked about the team change during the toss in the match against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants at Boland Park on Sunday.
Du Plessis replaced Hardus Viljoen from the team and was asked about the same. He said that the all rounder is missing from the team as he was married to his sister on Saturday and they both are sleeping together.
Viljoen has so far appeared in just one Test match for South Africa. The 30-year-old made his test debut against England in 2016. He features in various T20 leagues of the world and was retained by Kings XI Punjab for 2020 season.
