Virat Kohli is stuck once again due to his behavior on the field. The ICC has given him a negative point due to colliding with the South African player Beuran Hendricks during the third T20 match at Bengaluru on Sunday.
The International Cricket Council has warned Indian team captain Virat Kohli for misbehavior on the field. Also, another negative point has been added to Virat’s disciplinary record. With this, now three negative points have been added to Virat’s account and now he has reached close to a possible ban.
The incident happened when Virat was completing a run but he collided with Hendricks in inappropriate way that was not liked by ICC and the governing body has been found guilty of the first level of the ICC Code of Conduct.
This is Kohli’s third mistake since the new ICC rules came into force in September 2016. Kohli has been warned under Article 2.12 of the ICC.

Earlier demerit points
The Indian captain received a demerit point in the test match against South Africa on January 15, 2018 and another one in the world cup game against Bangladesh.
Punishment after breaching level 1
Level 1 breach holds a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of the player’s match fee and one or two demerit points, depending on the level of breach.
If a player receives four demerit points within the span of two years, it gets converted to suspension points and the player gets banned. Two suspension points lead to a ban from one Test, two ODIs or two T20Is for the player, whichever is scheduled first.
The demerit points stay on record with the ICC for a period of two years before getting deleted from the record. The demerit points he received in the test against South Africa will be deleted from the record on January 15, 2020 and the demerit points he received in the game against Afghanistan will be deleted on June 27, 2021.
